MÓNICA BRAVO HERRERA
With a Master’s degree in Human Movement Sciences from UCR and certifications in Ashtanga Yoga from both India and Costa Rica, she brings extensive expertise to her practice. Her areas of specialization include formative, rhythmic, and artistic gymnastics, yoga, mind-body practices, and behavioral psychology as applied to physical activity.
She discovered yoga over 20 years ago, but it was 15 years ago that her practice became a constant in her life, as she realized the transformative power of self-observation.
Through asana practice, she found a way to connect with exercise from a place of respect and love for her own body.
Yoga, as a way of life, now supports her journey toward self-knowledge, self-understanding, and the appreciation of her whole being.
Monica is teaching different classes in Paloma Studio: Vinyasa Flow, Barre Workout and Kids Movement.
XAVIER SUAREZ
Xavier Suarez is a dedicated Strength and Conditioning coach, specializing in functional training and the artful use of kettlebells.
With a philosophy grounded in sustainable fitness, Xavier takes a minimalist approach to training, emphasizing that true health comes from long-term lifestyle changes rather than quick fixes or the “No pain, no gain” mentality.
His sessions are crafted to empower clients with strength and resilience that support everyday life, prioritizing well-being over intensity for intensity’s sake.
Beyond his work as a coach, Xavier is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt and an active amateur competitor, bringing discipline and focus from martial arts into his approach to fitness. His interests extend to the arts as well, as he is an avid music enthusiast and a beer aficionado who appreciates life’s small joys.
This blend of athleticism, mindfulness, and appreciation for life’s pleasures makes Xavier’s approach uniquely balanced and approachable.
